For your information:

Our caravans are not mass produced.

We do not have a production line with machines producing them in volume.

They are not based on any car derived vehicle, nor are they copies of any original.

What we build are 100% originals designed solely by The English Caravan Company.

Each and every single caravan we produce is unique an built entirely by hand, for you.

We live and work from the centre of a working agricultural farm set in the heart of the glorious Hertfordshire countryside.

Our workshop is an old chitting barn and from our home nearby it takes us barely 3 minutes to walk to, the worse 'traffic' congestion we occasionally endure consists of pheasants, partridges and the occassional guinea fowl.

We have metal fabricators in an adjacent barn who make our stainess steel light fittings, amongst many other various works.

Another barn houses the coach sprayers workshop where all our caravans are individually painted.

In another, there's a joinery shop and specialist worktop manufacturers.

It's a very special, classic, original, English community where we live and work and support one another.

Much like our caravans, they are special, and original and very English.

No two caravans are ever the same and it's unlikely there will ever be.

If you want something really different, really unique, really special to you, we can help.

If you want something truly and honestly built by hand and completely made in England, then we can help.

This is about building and owning something that we can all be proud of.

We are proud of what we build, we love and live the process of building each caravan, from the intitial phone call, to the moment it leaves our workshop.

The communication via e mail, telephone and personal visits to the workshop, this is fun, it should be, it was meant to be.

This is a life, we live it 100%, it's not just a business, we're proud of what we do, we love what we do, we'd like you to share in this adventure.
